Reporting to Jim Rondeau, you will manage a hybrid team delivering robust DfX, clean product data, efficient prototype builds, and confident manufacturing readiness—so we hit market windows without compromising quality. Impact you will make Translate product concepts into scalable assembly processes and clear cost models. Stand up and refine prototype lines to validate design assumptions and process capability. Establish KPI frameworks and action plans that drive predictability and throughput. Allocate engineering talent to the right work at the right time to meet schedule and capability needs. Grow a high‑performing organization through coaching, accountability, and technical leadership.
Core responsibilities:
Lead a multi‑disciplinary team focused on PCBA NPI, process execution, and technology deployment. Own industrialization deliverables: DfX, product data readiness, prototype execution, and product costing. Set organizational goals and KPIs; monitor and improve team effectiveness and business results. Manage resource plans aligned to project priorities, schedules, skill development, and time‑to‑market. Develop technical depth and leadership strength across the engineering organization.
Qualifications:
Required Bachelor’s degree or commensurate relevant experience. Preferred 5+ years leading engineering teams responsible for industrialization and NPI in electronics assembly. Experience with manufacturing engineering processes: cost estimation, manufacturing plans, tooling, and process requirements. History of leading global engineering initiatives with internal and external stakeholders. Expertise in resource planning processes, tools, and workforce allocation. Background supporting prototype execution, PCBA delivery, and manufacturing readiness. Proven KPI creation and process improvement to reduce time‑to‑market.
