About the Role:
As a Concrete Estimator, you will:
Analyze project requirements, gathering essential data to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Utilize On-Screen Takeoff to conduct takeoffs and break down labor, material, and equipment costs.
Assess risks, analyze market trends, and forecast costs to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare and submit detailed bids and reports for prospective projects.
Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals to secure the most competitive quotes.
Who We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and organizational skills. You should be able to work independently while maintaining clear communication with leadership and clients.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience estimating structural concrete projects
- Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Associate degree or higher (preferred, but not required)
- Must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to starting
