Key responsibilities:
Coach students through various admissions materials, including personal statements and secondary essays
Provide substantive feedback on content, structure, and language, emulating an admissions committee's perspective
Lead brainstorming sessions and document guidance for consistency across the team
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
At least 5 years of professional editing, writing, teaching, publishing, or journalism experience
Exceptional writing and coaching skills with a strong command of grammar and style
Experience coaching or editing medical school admissions materials preferred
Familiarity with AMCAS, AACOMAS, and TMDSAS preferred
