The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Flight Test Engineer located in Oklahoma City, OK.You will have the unique opportunity to work on Boeing Mobility, Surveillance, & Bomber portfolio products. Key responsibilities include test planning, configuration control, test conduct, as well as data collection and analysis to assure product safety, performance, and regulatory certification during flight and ground tests. Position Responsibilities Include: Designs test hardware, software, and systems to achieve test requirements Develops and maintains data system architecture Supports fabrication, configuration, build, installation, and checkout of data system Operates data system on aircraft ground tests and flight tests Maintains, troubleshoots, and configure data systems Supports aircraft refurbishment and data system de-mod Collaborates across a broad spectrum of individuals and disciplines Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement Experience in flight test, laboratory testing, data analysis, instrumentation, system integration, and/or simulation Experience with transducer and sensor physics with the ability to make hardware and system selections appropriate to measure various physical phenomena Experience with data acquisition system attributes (e.g. range, accuracy, frequency responses, bandwidth) to define characteristics of measurements to be recorded Basic understanding of mechanical design and the ability to decipher engineering drawings Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ yrs experience working with accelerometers, pressure sensors, thermocouples, strain gages, positionsensors, and flowmeters 5+ yrs experience operating flight test instrumentation data systems 5+ yrs experience deciphering mechanical and electrical engineering drawings Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Summary
