We currently have immediate openings for an Equipment Operator. Operate heavy, motorized equipment used in earth moving/utility operations, including, but not limited to; dozers, loaders, excavators, and other equipment typically used on commercial and public site-work and utility projects. Project scopes consist of clearing, stripping topsoil, building pads, fill/export operations, grading of streets, sidewalks, drives, ponds, lawns, and parking lots.
Job Specific Requirements:
- Must be able to comprehend and follow the daily/weekly work plan
- Must be able to read drawings and layout stakes
- Must be able to operate dozer for bulk and finish grading operations without GPSMust be self-motivated and work without constant supervision
- Must adhere to Allied Employee Safety Policy
- Complete pre-inspection checklist prior to operating equipment
- Grease machine on a daily basis
- Keep cab and windows clean and free of debris
- Clean tracks as required
- Show up on time a ready to work at designated start time
- Work 40+ hours per week, including Saturday if necessary to meet schedule
- Report to work, properly groomed, mentally alert and physically able to work - not impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition
- Possess a valid Ohio drivers' license
- Able to lift 50 pounds, sometimes more
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing
