Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities: Develop MOPs/SOPs, run-books, and troubleshooting guides for field and NOC teams Author and maintain AWiPS user/admin/API documentation and release notes Create diagrams and visuals; enforce templates, terminology, and version control Interview SMEs; validate procedures in lab or sandbox prior to publication Support proposals/RFPs with technical method statements and process overviews Continuously improve documentation accessibility, searchability, and governance

Requirements: 4+ yrs technical writing in networking/telecom or adjacent infrastructure domains Ability to read configs/logs and translate SME input into operator-ready procedures Proficiency with Confluence/Markdown/Sphinx (or DITA) and diagramming tools Understanding of IP fundamentals (BGP/OSPF), PON/DOCSIS basics, and change control Experience producing SOC 2/ISO 27001-aligned controlled documentation Meticulous editor with portfolio demonstrating complex procedural content
