I am cyrille, an Executive Consultant, with over 20 years of experience in executive recruitment and consulting for top-tier companies. Projekts is proud to collaborate with international clients, including (Fortune 500 companies), operating in more than 20 countries worldwide. We are currently seeking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) — North America European industrial group — Confidential search — Based in the United StatesChief Executive Officer (CEO) — North America European industrial group — Confidential search — Based in the United StatesThe opportunity This is one of those mandates that comes along only once in an executive's career: taking the helm of a large-scale industrial platform, in the most competitive market on the planet, with a clear charter — to turn it into a growth champion. On behalf of a leading European industrial group, a benchmark player in the transformation of agricultural raw materials and the manufacturing of ingredients and products that reach the tables of millions of consumers every day, we are seeking the exceptional leader who will assume full responsibility for its North American operations: a footprint measured in hundreds of millions of dollars, among the very top of its sector on the continent and one of the group's principal engines of international growth. Deeply rooted in a culture of industrial excellence and capital intensity, the company operates several first-class production sites and cultivates long-term partnerships with its clients, built on rigor, trust, and performance. The mission Reporting directly to the group's executive leadership, you will embody the company's strategic vision across North America while steering, with a sharp focus on results, the full scope of its industrial, commercial, and financial operations. You will be the driving force behind an ambitious growth agenda: accelerating site performance, raising the organization to the highest level of productivity, winning new strategic accounts, and turning customer satisfaction into a durable competitive advantage. Beyond managing a demanding P&L, you will lead a genuine transformation — modernizing the industrial base, deploying uncompromising operational excellence, securing complex supply chains, and instilling a culture of innovation at every level of the company. This is as much a builder's role as a manager's: you will be expected to leave your mark and to shape an organization stronger, more agile, and more ambitious than the one you inherited. The profile we want to meet We are deliberately reaching out to leaders forged in heavy, demanding industry — and most particularly to executives from the automotive sector and its Tier 1 suppliers — whose expertise transfers with obvious force into this environment. Running plants in just-in-time mode, mastery of lean manufacturing, uncompromising quality within high-pressure industrial cycles, the management of client relationships structured around multi-year contracts, and the art of leading international multi-site organizations form the bedrock of success we are looking for. Solid international experience is indispensable for this role: the ability to operate across cultures, geographies, and markets is not a bonus but a prerequisite. European candidates are warmly welcomed, and those wishing to establish themselves in the United States will benefit from comprehensive relocation support. The leadership we are looking for Yet technical skills, however essential, will not be enough: this role demands, above all, human stature and a rare form of leadership. We are seeking a leader with sharp relational intelligence, able to unite multicultural teams around a shared vision, to win hearts as well as minds, and to turn strategic ambition into collective energy. You listen before you decide, then choose with clarity and own your decisions without hesitation; you inspire trust through your example far more than through your authority. Endowed with unshakable resilience and remarkable agility in the face of uncertainty, you hold the course through the storm, turn obstacles into springboards, and ignite in your teams the desire to surpass themselves. An outstanding communicator, equally at ease on the shop floor and in the boardroom, you combine the humility of someone who never stops learning with the boldness of someone who dares. It is this singular blend — industrial rigor and human warmth, vision and execution, high standards and genuine care — that will make you the leader this venture deserves. The package The compensation reflects the seniority and the stakes of the role: a highly attractive base salary, designed to recognize the caliber of the leader we are seeking, is complemented by a substantial annual performance bonus tied to clear and ambitious objectives, as well as a long-term incentive plan that aligns your success directly with the value you create and rewards your lasting commitment to the company's growth. In short, an offer built to attract — and to retain — the very best. Why you'll say yes This mandate offers what is rarest of all: real freedom to act, unapologetic ambition, the backing of a solid industrial shareholder, and the tangible chance to write one of the most defining chapters of your career. If you are looking for a challenge worthy of your talent, in an environment where your impact will be felt quickly and where your leadership will make all the difference, then this adventure is waiting for you.
