Hours: 32 hrs/week. Schedule based on practice needs Monday-Friday between8AM and 7PM. Most shifts will be8AM-4:30 PMor8AM-5PM

Duties: Primarily aclinical MA role, with cross-training and support forfront desk dutiesas needed.

Home Location: 5th Street Stationserves as the home office, but the role will float to all designated practices as needed. Flexibility: Must be willing to float between practices as needed based on staffing demands.

Coverage Area: Supports10 Primary Care practicesacross the Charlottesville/Waynesboro market.

Overview: TheMedical Assistantperforms patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Experience One year of clinical/administrative experiencerequired Phlebotomy experience preferred Education High School Diploma or equivalentrequired Certification/Licensure Certification must be received within(9) nine months of employmentin one of the following certification programs: CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or CMA- Certified Medical Assistant or RMA- Registered Medical Assistant or EMT- Emergency Medical Technician BLS isrequiredwithin 90 days of hire. The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.31 - $29.92 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
