Ophthalmic Technician

Job Description: Candidate selected will work at Eye Health Center of Troy located at 451 Hoosick Street, Troy NY 12180. Ideal candidate should be comfortable with refraction and tonometry and prior experience of working in an eye care setting is preferred. Job responsibilities include taking patient history, pretesting like OCT, visual field exams, fundus pictures and helping to keep a good patient flow. The right candidate should carry a professional demeanor along with being friendly and kind. Computer skills and prior experience with electronic health records and HIPPA compliance is a must.
