Director of Sales – Flexible Packaging

Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership & Development: Lead, recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, establishing clear performance goals, accountability, and professional development plans. Sales Strategy & Market Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and profitability, expand into priority markets, acquire new customers, and grow existing accounts. Strategic Customer Relationships: Build long-term relationships with key customers, serve as an executive-level partner, and lead complex sales opportunities and commercial negotiations while maintaining margin objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business development, technology, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities and deliver reliable packaging solutions. Commercial Excellence: Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, CRM utilization, and sales performance analytics to improve sales productivity and support data-driven decision-making. Innovation & Product Development: Support new product commercialization and sustainable packaging initiatives while identifying opportunities to expand the company's value proposition across key market segments.

Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive sales experience, including leadership, within flexible packaging, converting, or a related manufacturing industry. Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, profitability, and new business development. Proven ability to build, lead, and develop successful sales teams. Strong strategic selling, negotiation, and executive-level relationship management skills. Knowledge of flexible packaging materials, structures, printing, and converting processes preferred.
