Hospitalist Medical Director We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our hospital medicine program within a dynamic, growing health system. This leadership role offers the chance to oversee a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers while shaping the future of hospitalist services in a vibrant community.
Position Highlights:
- Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and administrative oversight for a team of hospitalists
- Collaborate with department chairs, nursing leadership, and executive administration to enhance quality of care, patient safety, and operational efficiency
- Balance administrative duties with direct clinical care responsibilities
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and physician recruitment/retention strategies
- Opportunity to teach residents and medical students through an academic partnership
Qualifications:
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Minimum of 3 5 years of hospitalist practice experience; prior leadership/administrative experience preferred
- Strong commitment to evidence-based medicine, team-based care, and continuous program improvement
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
