đ California-based | Contract / Independent Contractor We're hiring a Financial Oversight Lead to support independent financial validation and budget monitoring on a State of California contract oversight engagement.
What you'll do:
- Review vendor invoices for completeness, accuracy, and contract compliance
- Prepare, reconcile, and submit advance account voucher packets
- Maintain budget tracking logs and flag financial risks or anomalies
- Support audit readiness and financial documentation reviews
What you'll need:
- 3+ years reviewing invoices, reimbursement documentation, or fund administration packets
- Experience reconciling receipts, travel claims, and proofs of payment
- Strong Excel skills (or equivalent financial tracking tools)
- Must be based in California
- Experience with publicly funded/grant-funded programs or advance-account reimbursement models is a plus
