Project Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead design and construction projects across interior, retail, restaurant, and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will oversee project delivery from concept through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality, and client expectations are met. This role requires strong coordination with designers, contractors, clients, and vendors, and a practical understanding of interior fit-outs, retail rollouts, restaurant build-outs, and commercial renovations.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; track progress and adjust plans to mitigate risks and delays. Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, interior designers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers. Serve as primary client contact: manage expectations, present progress updates, resolve issues, and secure approvals. Review and manage project documentation including contracts, scopes of work, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Perform site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design intent, building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements. Control procurement and materials coordination to meet design standards and project timelines. Implement and enforce project controls, quality assurance processes, and safety protocols. Prepare and present regular status reports, financial forecasts, and post-project evaluations. Mentor junior project staff, share best practices, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or related field; equivalent experience considered.5+ years of project management experience in interiors, retail, restaurant, or commercial construction environments. Proven track record managing full project lifecycle including tenant fit-outs, retail rollouts, or restaurant build-outs. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, permit processes, and contract administration. Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar) and MS Office. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and change orders. Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as required. Professional certifications such as PMP, Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or equivalent are a plus.
