401(k) matchingCafé Bohème in Playa del Rey is looking for an experienced, energetic Barista/Cashier /Server to join our team. We are a neighborhood café serving specialty coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch. We're looking for someone who is comfortable multitasking, enjoys working with customers, and can keep up in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare espresso-based drinks with consistency and speed
- Take customer orders and operate the POS/register
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service
- Take and serve food orders
- Run food and drinks to tables
- Clear and reset tables
- Keep the coffee station and customer areas clean and organized
- Restock supplies as needed
- Work closely with the kitchen and other team members
- Jump in wherever needed during busy service What we're looking for:
- Previous barista experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable making espresso drinks
- Strong customer-service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work quickly and multitask
- Positive attitude and willingness to help
- Comfortable being on your feet during busy shifts
