Opportunity Highlights: One full-time and one part-time opportunityto join a collaborative team of 6 physiatrists and 2 APPs providing comprehensive rehabilitation care. Lead comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation care as a primary physiatrist, with the opportunity toexpand your practiceacrossconsultative services and outpatient clinic settingswithin a fully integrated health system. Deliver care at astate-of-the-art, hospital-based Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), fully supported byon-site diagnostics, advanced imaging, subspecialty consultants, and the complete resources of a major acute care hospital. Manage amedically complex and diverse rehabilitation population, with a clinical focus in general PM&R.Monday-Friday schedulewith rotating call (primarily home-based). Weekend call typically includes admissions and evaluation of active medical issues with APP support, plus a post-call day off. Optional opportunity toteach Florida State University medical students, as Sarasota Memorial Hospital is a core clinical training site. Research opportunitiesexist at theSMH Kolschowsky Research and Education Institute, a state-of-the-art 82,000 sq ft facility with clinical research resources, simulation labs, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
