Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a mid-level Executive Compensation Associate in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in executive and equity compensation, particularly in strategic and private equity M&A transactions. Experience with growth-stage technology and life sciences companies is preferred, and familiarity with qualified retirement plans, ESOPs, and health and welfare plans is advantageous.
Duties:
Evaluate and resolve executive pay and benefits considerations during mergers and acquisitions and other corporate deals. Draft and advise on equity and cash incentive plans and executive employment agreements. Prepare SEC-required compensation and benefits disclosures for securities filings.
Requirements:
4-5 years of experience in executive compensation and benefits at a peer law firm. Strong academic credentials. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage individual responsibilities. Admission to the State Bar of the office location is required. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
Certifications:
