We are partnered with a nationally recognized design-build and construction services firm specializing in complex industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, and logistics facilities across the United States. Their mission-critical group delivers mid to large-scale data center projects requiring exceptional planning, coordination, and execution in fast-paced environments. The Senior Superintendent will provide overall field leadership for data center projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and successful project delivery from site mobilization through commissioning and turnover. Responsibilities:
Lead all field operations for data center and mission-critical construction projects. Manage and mentor Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and field staff. Drive project safety culture and ensure compliance with all site-specific and corporate safety programs. Develop and maintain short-interval schedules, look-ahead plans, and field execution strategies. Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and commissioning activities. Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning sessions. Partner with Project Managers and Project Executives to proactively manage project risks, logistics, and schedule challenges. Oversee quality control programs, inspections, testing, and turnover activities. Coordinate major equipment deliveries, installation sequencing, and startup activities. Support commissioning efforts, integrated systems testing, and owner turnover. Maintain strong relationships with owners, design teams, trade partners, and project stakeholders. Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contract documents, company standards, and client expectations.
Qualifications and Experience:
10+ years of commercial or industrial construction experience. Experience delivering ground-up data center, mission-critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or highly technical facilities. Strong understanding of MEP systems and critical infrastructure construction. Proven experience managing large trade partner teams and multiple project phases. Experience leading projects through commissioning and final turnover. Ability to travel nationwide for project assignments. Experience on projects exceeding $100M in value preferred.
