This recruitment may be used to fill multiple vacancies. Description Of JobHybrid work assignment: Minimum of 2 days per week in the office. The position provides critical conceptual information-management, technical and analytical support through the maintenance, design and enhancement of various patient and management data systems. The position represents the Health Information Technology Team (HIT) as a lead subject matter expert and participates in user groups in order to gather and develop system specifications for modifications to BEHR for the Outpatient Clinic implementation. Additionally, the position: Develops, maintains, and enhances critical budget-management systems, clinical information management systems, ancillary analytical and audit systems, and BEHR development, specifically focused on the Outpatient Program. Develops legal status, data quality and ad-hoc management/analysis as needed. Completes system upgrades and provides system maintenance. Performs system analysis and design of reports, inquiries, and input screens as provided by the tools associated with BEHR and other software reporting applications; explores the use of new BEHR functionality for use by Outpatient Clinic staff; and, develops and executes routine and ad hoc reporting mechanisms necessary to meet business needs and requirements. Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions Of Employment & Appeal Rights Experience only: Seven (7) years total of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, including a minimum of three (3) years of working hands-on directly with major EHR platforms/systems in their back end, medical records workflow or clinical informatics. Education and experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position equal to seven (7) years including, a minimum of three (3) years of working hands-on directly with major EHR platforms/systems in their back end, medical records workflow or clinical informatics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, Release of Information (ROI) guidelines, and state/federal health data privacy regulations
- Understanding of clinical documentation improvement (CDI), revenue cycle management (RCM), and data governance.
- Understanding of outpatient workflows
- Back end experience with a top 4 industry leader in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Standard background check and reference check required. This position requires State of Colorado residency at the time of application (unless otherwise identified in the posting), and residency within the state throughout the duration of employment in this position. Travel in-state will be required.

Employment history is calculated on a full-time basis (40/hrs per week). Part-time employment is calculated on a prorated basis to determine qualifications.
