As the first point of contact with prospective customers, the Service Advisor presents the image and reputation of Findlay Mazda with professionalism and a strong commitment to customer is a commission only position, with on-target earnings expected to be up to $50,000 per year in addition to a complete benefits package. This includes medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as vacation time.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly with a friendly and professional attitude
- Listen actively and respond to customer questions and inquiries
- Provide thorough descriptions of service opportunities and answer related questions
- Assess needs for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Write a detailed estimate of service repair cost and time
- Schedule appointments and prepare service orders
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Review billing statements for accuracy
- Ensure that work is complete and customer is completely satisfied
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior automotive service advisor experience, preferred
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Exceptional problem solving and multi-tasking abilities
