Job Description: Financial Crimes Officer 5 This assignment is specific to contingent resources: Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Financial Crimes Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking Provide expertise to Client senior leadership on innovative Financial Crimes business solutions Strategically engage with Client personnel
Required Qualifications: 7 plus years of Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Job Summary: Responsible for leading and supporting complex Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) initiatives across risk assessment, issue management, governance, controls, regulatory compliance, and program execution. This role partners with business, risk, compliance, audit, and regulatory stakeholders to identify risks, implement sustainable solutions, strengthen governance frameworks, and drive strategic initiatives that support enterprise risk management objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and support complex, high-impact initiatives across Financial Crimes, Risk Management, Compliance, and Governance functions. Assess risks, controls, and business processes to identify gaps, root causes, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement. Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, policies, procedures, controls, and supporting documentation. Lead or support risk assessments, control evaluations, issue management activities, corrective action planning, and remediation efforts. Partner with stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies and sustainable solutions that align with regulatory expectations and enterprise standards. Coordinate and support audits, examinations, regulatory reviews, validations, and other oversight activities. Analyze data, trends, and emerging risks to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership. Develop executive-level reporting, presentations, dashboards, and communications for governance forums and senior leaders. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely execution of strategic priorities, regulatory commitments, and risk management initiatives. Support change management, knowledge transfer, training, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization. Influence stakeholders and provide credible challenge to ensure risks are appropriately identified, assessed, and managed.
Required Skills: 7 plus years of experience in Financial Crimes, Risk Management, Compliance, Operational Risk, Governance, Audit, Controls, Sanctions, Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), or related disciplines Experience leading complex initiatives involving risk assessment, governance, issue management, controls, regulatory compliance, or program execution Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, controls, governance documentation, or risk management frameworks Ability to analyze complex issues, assess business impact, and recommend effective solutions Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership
Desired Skills: Experience with Financial Crimes Risk Management programs, including AML, Sanctions, Fraud, ABC, or related regulatory requirements Experience supporting audits, regulatory examinations, issue remediation, risk assessments, or control validation activities Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, governance frameworks, issue management lifecycles, and control environments Experience developing executive reporting, risk metrics, dashboards, and governance materials Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and drive strategic change initiatives in a highly regulated environment Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point, Excel, Share Point, and reporting tools
