Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 3+ years of interventional cardiac cath lab experience and ARRT or RCIS certification. Details Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting Uses Philips equipment Day shift, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential to consider 4x10 hour shifts On-call required one shift per week and every third weekend
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional cardiac cath labACLS and BLS certification requiredARRT or RCIS certification required (license required if applicable)
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Proficient in procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, cardiac stent placement, IABP and Impella insertion, and vascular closure systems
  • Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia recognition/interpretation, and maintaining sterile fields
  • Experience with equipment setup, maintenance, and inventory/supply management
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Additional Information:
  • Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient prep, scrubbing for procedures, and maintaining a sterile field during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Performs vascular studies including upper and lower extremity angiography and various angiographic procedures
  • First-time travelers may be considered with appropriate 3+ years of experience
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Former employees must be separated from the health system for at least one year before returning as a traveler
