About the Role: Aclara Technologies is looking for a Chemical Operator to support the operation of pilot-scale processes used to develop and advance Rare Earth Element separation technology. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in combining chemistry, manufacturing, process operations, and hands-on equipment. Previous pilot plant experience is not required. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. A background in chemistry, chemical engineering, laboratory science, process technology, industrial technology, or manufacturing is highly desirable.

What You'll Do: • Operate, monitor, and maintain pilot plant equipment including reactors, filters, pumps, and mixers• Prepare materials and equipment for pilot plant trials• Follow process instructions and standard operating procedures• Collect and accurately record process data• Complete batch records and run logs• Monitor operating conditions and make adjustments as directed• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues• Work with team members to resolve operational problems• Follow chemical safety, environmental, and company procedures• Use required PPE and maintain a safe work environment• Support continuous improvement efforts involving safety, quality, and process efficiency Ideal Background This is an entry-level position, and we are willing to train the right candidate.
