We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stamping Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stamping presses to produce high-quality metal components efficiently and safely. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, quality standards are met, and safety protocols are strictly followed. Available Shifts 2nd Shift: 3: 00 PM – 11: 30 PM Training will be completed on 1st Shift: 7: 00 AM – 3: 30 PM Pay $19.50-$20.00/hour Duties Set up, operate, and monitor stamping presses to produce metal parts according to specifications. Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and tooling instructions to accurately produce parts. Perform routine maintenance on stamping presses and related equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for minor repairs or adjustments to tooling and machinery. Coordinate with the fabrication team to manage tooling changes, setup adjustments, and machine calibrations. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment when handling heavy materials or components. Experience Proven experience operating stamping presses in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and press brake machines is highly desirable. Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and quality inspection techniques using micrometers and other precision measuring tools. Hands-on experience with welding, sheet metal fabrication, tooling setup, and assembly processes. Ability to use hand tools effectively and perform basic math calculations necessary for machining and fabrication tasks.
