Progressive Care Unit Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN)

Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution in Denver, Colorado that delivers specialized care and cutting-edge treatments across a spectrum of medical disciplines, is currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In this vital role, you will be tasked with enhancing patient care by coordinating clinical activities, providing expert nursing support, and ensuring seamless operation within the PCU. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader with a deep understanding of patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, driving both clinical excellence and positive patient outcomes. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the PCU, including patient flow and staff assignments Monitor patient care for quality and adherence to standards and regulatory requirements Provide direct care as needed, and mentor nursing staff to promote professional growth and excellence Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Participate in the development and implementation of care protocols and quality improvement initiatives Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure optimal department functionality Act as a liaison between patients, families, and physicians to ensure effective communication and patient satisfaction Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in clinical operations and patient care management Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams Knowledge of compliance and regulatory guidelines in healthcare Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado BLS Certification ACLS Certification preferred
