Billing Specialist

The Role: Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule. Assist with billing across construction, service and project-based contracts. Gather supporting documentation including timesheets, packing slips and purchase orders. Support billing packages for government and public-agency clients. Assist with certified payroll and prevailing-wage documentation where required. Track outstanding invoices and help resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation. Work closely with project managers, operations and finance teams. Your Experience 1–3+ years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting or related experience. Construction, contracting, engineering, telecommunications or project-based experience preferred. Exposure to NYC government or public-agency billing is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable using Excel and accounting or ERP systems. Strong communication skills and willingness to learn. The Rewards$60,000–$80,000 base salary. Opportunity to develop specialist construction and government billing experience.
