Adjunct - Mathematics

Responsibilities: Deliver mathematics instruction at the undergraduate level in a lecture setting. Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with course learning objectives. Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, projects, and exams. Provide timely entry of grades and constructive feedback to students. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades in the college provided learning management system. Hold regular office hours and attend adjunct convocation. Collaborate with department staff and faculty to enhance course content and teaching methods.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or equivalent experience with at least 18.0 graduate level credits in mathematics required. Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Proficiency in educational technology and familiarity with learning management systems is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. All employees are required to obtain the three mandatory background clearances at their expense prior to their first day of work: PA Criminal Background PA Child Abuse History, FBI Cogent Clearance Fingerprinting (Department of Education).
