Our client, a growing third-party logistics provider specializing in time-sensitive, temperature-controlled freight, is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator for its Indianapolis operation. You'll keep shipments moving on schedule by coordinating drivers and carriers and resolving issues in real time. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assign and coordinate drivers and carriers for pickups and deliveries
Monitor shipments in real time and proactively manage delays and exceptions
Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, carriers, and customers
Maintain accurate shipment records and status updates

Qualifications:

Experience in dispatch, transportation coordination, or logistics operations
Familiarity with temperature-controlled, expedited, or time-sensitive freight is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills under pressure
Proficiency with TMS or dispatch software
