Hey there! We’re myVA Rocks. We connect busy professionals and business owners with experienced Virtual Assistants who help them get more done. We’re looking for experienced Social Media Specialists and Social Media Managers to join our growing team. If social media management, content creation, brand management, and digital marketing are your thing, let’s talk. Our Social Media VAs work with several clients simultaneously, making for a flexible, varied, and engaging workday. You’ll help businesses build a stronger social media presence, stay consistent with their content, and turn ideas into polished, on-brand content. If you’re creative, organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable figuring things out as you go, you may be a great fit for myVA Rocks. The Details Contract: Part-time, 20+ hours/week
Location: 100% remote
Schedule: Flexible, with approximately 20 hours available during standard U.S. business hours
Rate: $20/hour
Primary collaboration hours:8:00–11:00 AM PST9:00 AM–12:00 PM MST10:00 AM–1:00 PM CST11:00 AM–2:00 PM ESTAdditional availability may be needed depending on client requirements.
What You’ll Do:
  • Create and manage social media content, including graphics, short-form video, captions, and other digital content
  • Write engaging, on-brand social media copy and adapt content to different client voices
  • Build and maintain social media content calendars
  • Schedule and publish content using social media management and scheduling platforms
  • Research hashtags, trends, topics, and content opportunities
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across social channels
  • Monitor social media analytics and performance metrics
  • Track engagement, reach, and other key social media metrics
  • Use performance insights to make recommendations and improve content strategy
  • Support social media campaigns, launches, promotions, and special projects
  • Collaborate with clients to turn their ideas, expertise, and business goals into effective social media content
Additional experience that’s a plus: copywriting, email marketing, graphic design, photography, audio editing, or video editing.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of professional experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, brand management, or a related creative role
  • Experience managing social media accounts for businesses, organizations, or professional brands
  • Hands-on experience with social media strategy, content creation, content scheduling, publishing, and engagement
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt your writing to different brand voices
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, formatting, and attention to detail
  • Experience with creative tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, CapCut, InShot, or similar platforms
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout Social, Planoly, Loomly, HeyOrca, CoSchedule, SocialPilot, Tailwind, or similar platforms
  • Ability to understand social media analytics and use performance data to make recommendations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple clients, projects, platforms, and deadlines
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt to different client workflows quickly
