Location Houston, TX
Duties:
Handle mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
Assist with transaction structuring, due diligence, and deal execution.
Draft and negotiate complex legal agreements and supporting documentation.
Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to provide strategic legal counsel.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity.
Strong understanding of corporate transactional matters.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple complex deals.
Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Active membership in good standing with the Bar of the jurisdiction in which the position is located.
Skills Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with clients.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
