CT Technologist

Medical City Dallas Hospital, renowned for its superior medical services and cutting-edge technology, is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic radiology team. In this role, you will operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. You will be expected to follow physician instructions, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate details. The ideal candidate must ensure patient safety and compliance with the strict protocols governing radiology practice, reflecting the high standards of care provided by Medical City Dallas Hospital. Operate CT equipment to produce scans of appropriate quality for diagnostic purposes Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, adhering to all safety regulations Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and answering queries Administer contrast materials as per the protocols under physician supervision Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging data and reports Work collaboratively with radiologists to determine the most appropriate imaging techniques Stay updated with the latest developments and technologies in CT imaging Proficiency in operating CT scanning equipment Strong understanding of radiology protocols and anatomy Excellent patient management skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
