Other Heavy and Civil Engineering ConstructionSite Preparation ContractorsAll Other Specialty Trade Contractors🏗️ Project Manager – Large-Scale Warehouse / Cold Storage Construction📍 New York Metro | Full-Time A growing New York-based General Contractor / Construction Manager — known for delivering technically challenging commercial, hospitality and residential projects with in-house fabrication and self-perform capabilities — is expanding into industrial and cold storage construction, and is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to lead the way. ❄️This is a rare opportunity to help shape a company's move into a new sector, taking ownership of a technically demanding project from preconstruction through completion.
🔧 The Role:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for overall project delivery, working closely with ownership, the design team, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
Responsibilities include:
✅ Managing projects from preconstruction through closeout✅ Leading project planning, scheduling, procurement and execution✅ Managing budgets, cost control, forecasting and change orders✅ Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, vendors and field teams✅ Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documents✅ Leading constructability reviews and resolving coordination issues✅ Managing RFIs, submittals, payment applications and documentation✅ Developing and maintaining project and procurement schedules✅ Coordinating complex MEP, refrigeration, structural and architectural scopes✅ Identifying and managing project risks before they become issues✅ Leading project meetings and maintaining strong client relationships✅ Overseeing punch list, commissioning, turnover, warranties and closeout🎯 What We're Looking For▪️ 5+ years of construction Project Management experience▪️ Strong experience delivering large-scale warehouse, distribution, industrial or logistics projects▪️ Cold storage / refrigerated / temperature-controlled facility experience strongly preferred▪️ Experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle▪️ Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control and subcontractor management▪️ Comfortable coordinating complex MEP and refrigeration scopes▪️ Strong contract administration and documentation skills▪️ Confident working directly with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors▪️ Strong communication and problem-solving skills▪️ Procore or similar construction management software experience preferred▪️ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred🌟 Particularly Relevant Experience Cold Storage | Refrigerated Facilities | Distribution Centres | Warehouses | Logistics | Fulfilment Centres | Food & Beverage | Industrial | Manufacturing | Temperature-Controlled Facilities |Ground-Up Industrial📌 Location: New York Metro📌 Position: Project Manager📌 Sector: Industrial / Warehouse / Cold Storage / Commercial Construction📌 Employment: Full-Time
