Shift: 3x12 Days | 7:00 AM–7:30 PMGuaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Specialty: Step Down / Progressive Care
Charting: EpicLocal Candidates: Accepted at a reduced rate
Requirements:
- Active Rhode Island RN license or authorization to practice in Rhode Island
- Previous ICU experience REQUIREDEpic EMR experience REQUIREDStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience managing high-acuity patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Preferred Experience
- Step Down or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
- Continuous cardiac monitoring
- Complex patient care management
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Step Down patients
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatment
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation using EpicEnsure patient safety and quality care
- Candidates must have both ICU and Epic experience to be considered.
