This position focuses on psychological and psychoeducational assessments with adolescents and young adults, ages 5-25. Typical assessments include ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning differences, and other conditions affecting daily functioning, such as intellectual disabilities and giftedness, and emotional disorders. While experience in these areas is preferred, training on a variety of assessment measures, report writing techniques, and therapeutic assessment and feedback will also be offered. You may have the option to also manage a small therapy caseload of adolescent and young adult clients if you choose. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team, receive supervision from two licensed psychologists, and enjoy a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
Conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments with adolescents and young adults.
Contributing to the development and enhancement of assessment protocols and procedures.
Collaborating with families, caregivers, and relevant providers to support overall client well-being.
Participating in agency meetings, training sessions, consultations, and supervision meetings.
Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Working with best practices and advancements with an insurance based clinic.
Optional: Providing evidence-based individual therapy to a caseload of 5-10 therapy patients.
Doctoral degree in Psychology
Must obtain registration with the Board of Psychology (BOP) as a Psychological Associate
Experience in conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments, specifically with adolescents and young adults. Examples of tests include: WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WJ-IV Tests of Achievement, D-KEFS, NEPSY-II, ADOS-2, etc.
Experience assessing ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and/or learning differences preferred
Expectation to complete 4-6 evaluations per month
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Bilingual and bicultural skills are a plus
Experience with LGBTQ+ populations is a plus
