We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical operations within a skilled nursing facility. Strong candidates will work closely with the Director of Nursing to help oversee nursing staff, maintain regulatory compliance, support quality initiatives, and ensure smooth day-to-day clinical operations throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, adaptable, and comfortable working within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations
- Assist with oversight of nursing staff, scheduling, and workflow coordination
- Help maintain compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
- Participate in survey preparedness and quality improvement initiatives
- Support infection prevention and resident care programs
- Assist with staff education, mentoring, and performance management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency
- Help foster a positive and accountable clinical culture throughout the facility
- Support implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and best practices
- Monitor documentation standards and assist with maintaining regulatory compliance
- Assist leadership with staff development, retention, and operational support initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- Previous nursing leadership experience within skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and clinical operations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive within a fast-paced environment
- Strong team-oriented mindset with a hands-on leadership approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and facility leadership
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality resident care
Compensation & Benefits:
$90,000 – $115,000 (based on experience) Healthcare Benefits, PTO, Vacation Package, 401(k), etc.
