Environmental amp Natural Resources Attorney

Duties: Manage project permitting and siting, including NEPA and SEQRA processes. Conduct transactional due diligence and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Handle enforcement matters related to environmental statutes. Interface with resource agencies such as USEPA, USACE, USFWS, and NYSDEC.

Requirements: Licensed to practice in New York State or eligible to waive into the New York State Bar. Four to eight years of relevant experience in environmental law. Expertise in Superfund/CERCLA, CWA, CAA, ESA, MBTA, and New York State Environmental Conservation Law. Experience in the energy industry and with wildlife and rare, threatened, and endangered species is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications: Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
