Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

HealthONE is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit in Denver. In this role, you will deliver advanced, compassionate care to critically ill patients, performing continuous assessments, managing ventilators and complex drips, and responding rapidly to changes in condition. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, follow evidence-based protocols, and maintain accurate EMR documentation. Provide direct critical care nursing to ICU patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Monitor and manage ventilators, hemodynamic lines, titratable drips, and other advanced life-support therapies. Respond rapidly to patient status changes and participate in code and emergency situations following ACLS protocols. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other team members to coordinate evidence-based care. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR and maintain regulatory compliance. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care, providing emotional support. Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality standards, contributing to unit performance improvement initiatives. Precept and mentor new nurses and students, supporting a culture of learning and professional development.
