Founder's Chief of Staff (Part-Time, Remote)

Location: Remote — United States, Eastern Time Zone

Compensation: $50/hour

The Opportunity: We're seeking an entrepreneurial Founder's Chief of Staff to work directly with the founder and help build the company's operational foundation. This is a hands-on position with significant responsibility across strategy, company operations, fundraising preparation, recruiting, and partnerships. The role begins part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time following company funding.

Responsibilities: Work directly with the founder to prioritize and execute strategic initiatives. Establish operational processes, milestones, and accountability systems. Coordinate with legal, accounting, and external advisers. Research investors, accelerators, and strategic partnerships. Support fundraising presentations, investor outreach, and due diligence preparation. Coordinate recruiting and onboarding for early team members. Conduct competitive research and evaluate emerging AI opportunities. Use AI and productivity tools to improve operational efficiency. Independently manage special projects from planning through execution.

Qualifications: Approximately 4–8 years of relevant experience in startup operations, strategy, consulting, business operations, or a founder's office. Demonstrated ability to independently execute complex initiatives. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Comfortable working directly with a founder in an early-stage company. Genuine interest in AI and emerging technologies. Experience using AI tools for research, planning, and productivity. Ability to work remotely for 20 hours weekly on an Eastern Time schedule. Startup fundraising or early-stage technology experience is a plus. An MBA or previous Chief of Staff title is not required.

Compensation and Benefits: $50 per hour. Part-time W-2 employment, 20 hours weekly. Fully remote within the U.S. Eastern Time Zone. Employer-sponsored medical insurance is not currently offered. Statutory leave and other benefits as required by applicable law. Potential transition to full-time employment after funding, subject to company needs and mutual agreement.
