Remediation Project Engineer

Overview In this role you will support and lead remediation projects within an integrated, multidisciplinary team. You will drive technical design, field implementation, and client coordination to deliver high-quality remediation and consulting services. You will help shape remediation strategies across industrial, commercial, and municipal clients. Compensation / Benefitsflexible hybrid work schedulerelocation assistancestock ownership opportunitiescompetitive benefitsstrong bonus potentialemployee-focused environment Responsibilities Conduct corrective measures/feasibility studies Develop detailed remedial designs with construction drawings, cost estimates, and specs Evaluate remediation construction bids Estimate costs and manage scope, schedule, and budget Design in situ and ex situ soil, sediment, and groundwater remedies Prepare technical environmental reports and regulatory compliance documents Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors Evaluate and mitigate vapor intrusion sites Manage remedial construction and environmental data Remediate and redevelop Brownfields sites Collaborate with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies Key requirements 5-10 years of professional environmental/engineering consulting experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Master’s degree desirable Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) strongly preferred Strong knowledge of site remediation design and implementation Experience in project scope, cost estimates, and technical proposals Experience with remediation construction management Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams Mentoring ability for junior staff Proficiency with MS Office; experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, stormwater modeling, contaminant fate and transport modeling, Python/R and/or databases 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and 10-hour OSHA Construction training is a plusstrong communication and presentation skillsmentoring and coachingteam leadership and collaboration ArcGISAutoCADstormwater modeling software
