ABOUT THE ROLE:
We currently have an opportunity for a board certified/board eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist with an active Missouri license for a 100% telepsychiatry position. This position is 34 hours/week and will allow you to provide services remotely for patients accessing care from a Community Mental Health Clinic. Patient population is ages 5-18. Community Mental Health experience required, including an understanding of this population.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Provide a full range of psychiatric services to assigned patients, including assessment, evaluation, screening, diagnosis, and treatmentAnalyze and evaluate patient data and test findings to diagnose nature and extent of behavioral health disorderDirect and/or implement psychotherapeutic treatments as well as prescribe medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disordersCollaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progressExamine or order laboratory tests to provide information on general physical condition and mental disordersParticipate in treatment team activities to include the development and periodic review of treatment plans and to take the necessary steps when an individual refuses treatmentWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Clinicians must have active state license 1-3 years of experience since obtaining licenseIntermediate to advanced experience with technologyStrong communication skillsEstablished and updated CAQH profile strongly preferredPOSITION LOGISTICS
100% remote positionRequired to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentialityYou will likely be required to work with Array to obtain additional state licensure and DEA licenses. We will support that process and cover the costs and/or reimburse for out-of-pocket expenses.
