Production Technician

Production Technician Production Technician needed for a biodiesel manufacturer in Adrian, MI. This is a temp direct opportunity.

all equipment associated with the biodiesel process including reactors, distillation, separators, and drying systems. Safely manage loading and unloading of finished products and chemicals. Monitor and adjust operation using computerized and controlled systems to meet department requirements. Process samples utilizing lab equipment to obtain and record values on a computer spreadsheet and collect samples for several process areas. Interfacing with computer terminals, and monitoring plant functions via computer and control rooms. Monitor varies processing parameters and physically take readings from machinery in all parts of the plant regularly. Assess current operating conditions and make process adjustments as needed. Carry out all manufacturing operations, including large scale chemical reactions, distillation, centrifuging and vacuum- drying, as well as support activities such as operating boiler equipment, water treatment and manual and automatic production equipment including pumps, valves, centrifuges, dryers and
