Now Hiring Welder/Fabricator Join Koch Finishing Systems as an Entry-Level Welder/Fabricator at our Evansville, IN facility. We're hiring immediately for full-time, day shift positions (MondayFriday, 6:00 AM2:30 PM). Training provided a welding certification (AWS, ASME, NCCER, or equivalent) is required to get started. What You GetStarting pay $22.44 - 33.03/hr, based on experience and certification + weekly pay Paid holidays, vacation, PTO & EPTOMedical, dental & vision insurance Retirement plans Tuition & fitness reimbursement Team member referral bonus: $500$1,000 per successful hire
What You'll Do:
  • Assemble and weld ductwork, doors, tanks, piping, ovens, curtain coaters, and heaters
  • Set up and operate saws, drill presses, ironworkers, shears, punches, rollers, and benders
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications
  • Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl for the duration of the shiftAbility to wear required PPE (safety glasses, welding helmet/gloves, steel-toe boots) for the full shiftAbility to work safely around moving equipment, machinery, and welding operations in a manufacturing environment
  • Qualifications Required
  • Welding certificate from a technical school, community college, or high school CTE program, ORAWS, ASME, NCCER, or equivalent welding certification
  • Preferred Experience
  • Prior MIG/TIG welding or fabrication experience
  • Reading a tape measure accurately
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or factory environment
