Plant Manager - Sand Plant

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily plant operations and employees, assign daily tasks, and coordinate shift rotations. Implement company policies and procedures, as well as enforce MSHA and OSHA rules and regulations. Monitor dry and wet plant equipment such as conveyors, screens and washers to hit targets. Report and troubleshoot mechanical failures, track equipment downtime, and schedule routine repairs in collaboration with the maintenance department. Manage the budget within limits and understand the importance of P&L.Safely operate company equipment, tooling and vehicles as necessary. Oversee and record site inspections, addressing areas of concerns in a timely manner. Conduct risk assessments and deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and employee meetings. Ensure site personnel have job relevant training and enforce proper PPE requirements for all employees. Coach, counsel and discipline employees as needed to uphold the standards and integrity of the operation.
