Tax Credit Leasing Agent

Location: Reno, NVAssignment: 2-week temporary assignment with ongoing/as-needed opportunities Schedule/Hours: Monday–Fridayn from 8AM - 5PM

Industry: Affordable Housing / LIHTCCareer Strategies is seeking an experienced Tax Credit Leasing Agent to assist an affordable housing community in Reno, NV. This is initially a two-week assignment, with the opportunity for additional ongoing and as-needed assignments.

Responsibilities: Greet prospective and current residents and provide excellent customer service Answer phones, respond to leasing inquiries, and assist with daily office operations Conduct property and apartment tours Assist with applications, leasing paperwork, and resident documentation Support income certifications and recertifications Maintain accurate and organized resident files Assist with LIHTC/Tax Credit compliance documentation Follow up with prospective residents and assist with leasing activity Respond to resident questions and concerns professionally Provide general administrative support to the property management team

Qualifications: Previous Tax Credit/LIHTC or affordable housing experience required Previous apartment leasing/property management experience Familiarity with income certifications, recertifications, and affordable housing documentation Strong customer service and communication skills Professional, dependable, and organized Comfortable working independently in a leasing office Property management software experience preferred Reliable transportation required This is a great opportunity for an experienced affordable housing leasing professional looking for immediate temporary work with the potential for additional assignments.
