State AI Policy & Government Affairs Lead

Americans for Responsible Innovation (ARI) seeks a Vice President of State Government Affairs to create and lead a new nationwide state advocacy operation from Washington, DC. You will build a four-regional team, coordinate with federal staff, and defend against restrictive AI legislation while promoting responsible policy. You will drive ARI’s fifty-state strategy, supervise contract lobbyists, and engage with national bodies like NCSL, NGA, and state legislators to advance ARI’s mission.
