To support the Vendor Analytics Team, the full-time Actuary - Value-Based Care (ASA Required) will conduct analysis, pricing, and risk assessment for value-based care contracts, ensuring they are actuarially sound and financially beneficial, while working remotely within the continental U.S.
Key responsibilities: Lead the development of financial models to evaluate risks and opportunities in value-based care arrangements Analyze claims and vendor performance data to establish baselines and identify trends Provide analytical support during negotiations with external vendors regarding financial terms and risk structures
Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience 5+ years of actuarial experience with ASA certification or 4+ years with FSA certification Preferred membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) Experience with healthcare claims, revenue data, and trend analysis Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Teradata, and Snowflake
