Assistant Curator

Working under the Director of Exhibits & Collections, the Assistant Curator is primarily responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all temporary and traveling exhibits. She/He/They may also assist with research and assets for the development of permanent exhibitions as well. Specifically, duties include: Creating object lists Drafting content briefs, summaries, and label copy Researching and securing relevant assets and permissions Assisting with daily exhibit maintenance, including turning lights on and off and cleaning Corresponding with other MoSH departments and outside partners/sponsors Assisting with exhibition budgeting Other duties as requested
