Borescope Technician

Qualifications/Requirements: An Associate's Degree or equivalent vocational training in an mechanical or non-destructive inspection technology or minimum 3 years of borescope, preferably on heavy duty gas turbines.

Eligibility Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel globally on short notice, and for extended periods of time. Possess a valid driver's license and be able to rent vehicles to support inspection needs. Borescope Inspection, as well as any other inspections required by the business as needed. Recommended experience on 7F.01-.03 gas turbine construction, with borescope close out inspections. Additionally, quat cleaning experience preferred. Desired: Knowledge of design, construction, and maintenance of steam or combustion turbines/generators used in power generation applications. Familiar with operating Mentor Visual iQ Videoprobe, Menu Directed Inspection software. Experience in a customer service focused organization. Strong customer service communication skills, both verbal and written. Work independently, safely and effectively with minimal direction and supervision in a procedure driven environment.
