Position Overview: Custom Healthcare Solutions is actively seeking an experienced Pre-Op / PACU Nurse Manager for an immediate opportunity at a hospital in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY.The Nurse Manager will provide clinical and operational leadership across Pre-Operative Services, the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre-Admission Testing (PAT). This position is responsible for overseeing daily department operations, supporting nursing staff, maintaining high standards of patient care, and ensuring efficient coordination throughout the perioperative process. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Direct and oversee daily operations across Pre-Op, PACU, and Pre-Admission Testing. Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing personnel. Coordinate staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and departmental resources. Collaborate with surgical services leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and established nursing standards. Monitor clinical performance, patient safety, and quality-of-care outcomes. Lead performance improvement initiatives and support staff development. Address operational challenges and promote a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Required Qualifications: Active New York State RN license. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred. Previous PACU clinical experience required. Demonstrated PACU management experience required. Pre-Operative nursing experience preferred. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon employment. CNOR or CAPA certification preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
