Job Description: Job Description OverviewA growing commercial general contractor is seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations across a range of private sector projects, including retail, office, industrial, and tenant improvement work. This is a tight-knit, collaborative team with a strong project pipeline and a reputation for delivering high-quality work. The Role: The Superintendent will be responsible for leading day-to-day field operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality. This role requires someone who can operate independently on-site, coordinate subcontractors effectively, and work closely with Project Managers to drive successful project execution. Success in this position means maintaining strong control over schedule, quality, and site coordination, while fostering a productive and safety-focused jobsite.

Responsibilities: Oversee daily field operations from project start through completion Manage and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site activities Enforce job site safety standards and maintain compliance Ensure all work meets quality expectations and project specifications Partner closely with Project Managers on scheduling and execution strategies Participate in project meetings, including OAC meetings as required Ensure alignment with construction drawings, specifications, and client expectations

Requirements: Experience working as a Superintendent with a general contractor Background in commercial construction, with exposure to tenant improvement (TI) projects preferred Strong ability to manage schedules and coordinate multiple trades Proven ability to run projects independently in the field Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore) is a plus

Nice to Have: Experience working in smaller, fast-paced construction teams Exposure to a variety of commercial project types (retail, office, industrial) Salary Competitive Depending on Experience Location Scottsdale, Arizona Primarily on-site at project locations
