Chief Human Resources Officer

Responsibilities: Lead culture driving programs and leadership initiatives. Oversee talent and performance management to ensure alignment with strategic pillars and high-performance goals. Direct the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Human Resources and Training strategies to promote organizational effectiveness and strengthen workforce engagement. Reinforce Merchants Bank's reputation as an employer of choice. Manage HR functions including workforce planning, organizational development, performance management, talent development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and regulatory compliance. Represent the Bank in regulatory, legal, and community settings.

Qualifications: 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience (preferably in financial services).BS/BA degree required; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred. Strong strategic skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to foster and support an engaged workforce by encouraging employees to focus on strengths, celebrate successes, and foster effective recognition. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects. SHRM or PHR certification is desirable.
